The University of Louisiana at Monroe Entrepreneurship Studies Center was created to house the entrepreneurship and small business development programs designed to aid in the economic development and diversification of the University service area.  The Center includes an academic program, a research program, and an outreach program.

ULM Entrepreneurship Studies Center

The Entrepreneurship Studies Center houses the entrepreneurship and small business academic programs designed for students.  These programs include a BBA in Entrepreneurship for students who want to create new ventures, work in entrepreneurial ventures, or become business consultants.

In addition, students from throughout the University can choose a minor in entrepreneurship.  This program is designed for students who may want to create a new venture based on knowledge and skills gained from their major other than entrepreneurship such as construction, psychology, art, pharmacy and so on.

Finally, student in the MBA program can choose a concentration in entrepreneurship that will provide them the knowledge and skills needed to create a new venture, work in an entrepreneurial venture, or become business consultants.

The Entrepreneurship faculty who teach and are engaged in the Entrepreneurship program do much of their research and writing in the areas of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship development, small business development, and economic development and diversification related to entrepreneurship.
